Nehru Institute of Engineering & Technology was established in the year 2006 under the aegis of Nehru College of Educational and Charitable Trust. It is a private college which is situated in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The college has been affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. It has been recognised by UGC and has also been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. The college has also been accredited by NAAC as well as NBA. In order to help students meet the highest standards in academic, research, and leadership skills, the college provides labs, workshops, and libraries that are well-equipped. It is equipped with enough sports facilities to handle recreational and sporting events. The institute places a lot of emphasis on environmentally friendly living.The Nehru Institute of Engineering & Technology courses are offered to interested candidates at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. There are a total of 14 courses offered to students in the stream of engineering, management and technology. The majority of college courses are available to students in a regular, offline mode. The Nehru Institute of Technology admission is offered to all of its programmes based on a candidate's performance in the relevant entrance exam and the most recent qualifying exam. The college accepts a number of entrance tests for admission, including TNEA counselling (for BE/B.Tech courses), TANCET (for MBA) and GATE/TANCET (for M.E courses).The Nehru Institute of Engineering & Technology campus is spread over an area of 10.56 acres and offers students a range of amenities, including a gymnasium, boys' and girls' hostels, laboratories, a sports complex, transportation services, banking options, a full-fledged library, a canteen and others. The Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology courses are offered to interested candidates at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. A total of 14 courses are offered to interested candidates in the stream of technology and engineering. These courses are offered to interested candidates in regular, offline mode. The duration of the BE/B.Tech courses is 4 years and 2 years for M.E and MBA courses at Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology. To become eligible for the offered courses, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria at Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology to apply for these courses. To become eligible for the BE/B.Tech courses, candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as main subjects and qualified in the TNEA counselling as well.
